I on “recognition”

I said to Joey, “The least anyone can do is to acknowledge how someone feels.”

I used to be in a perpetual state of denial when it comes to hearing “I love you”.

I thought that if I ignored it, it meant that it wasn’t said or that it would just go away.

Well, that wasn’t kind.

After all, indifference is more cruel than hatred.

If you tell me that, just make sure you have an answer to my “why” and “now what”.

And that you know how to play.

“I love you” destroys.
